Please Unsubscribe – Removing The Noise

The new year has just gotten started – personally it could have started better for me.

I’m just getting over a nasty cold (flu) – felt like I was going to go towards the white light a few times, if you know what I mean?

Anyway. This is going to be a short post.

I want to talk to you about Removing The Noise – and what noise am I talking about?

I’m talking about all that crap you’re getting in your inbox everyday – it’s all those mailing lists that you’re on. It’s doing you no good – it’s a distraction.

You have enough distractions online – Twitter – Facebook just to name the two most time consuming/wasting things online, why add to the pile?

When I tell people they need to clear out their inbox I usually get….

Oh I can’t unsubscribe, if I can’t read things right away I save them so I can read them later. Really!! How many of those saved emails have you read?

Or they say – I save them as a swipe file for marketing – BS!! – Get rid of them.

Seriously you need to go through your subscriptions and unsubscribe from all of the useless ones – you’ll be surprised at how many you get rid of – and oh yeah that includes mine.

If you don’t think my information is of value you to you – then unsubscribe from me too.

The bottom line is if the email list that you are on is not providing you value or is pitching you something everyday – Unsubscribe from it their not worth your time!!

Your time is valuable – make sure you spend it wisely.

I believe in you
Leo

  1. You hit me there! Okay, from now on I’ll just subscribe to those that really give me value information and kick out the ones that only clutter my inbox. About yours, I’ll have to create a folder for it.

    • Hey Carlos,

When I cleaned out my inbox it was like cleaning out my garage of all the crap I kept and never used.

And I’m glad to hear my newsletter made the cut.

Thanks for being a very valued reader!!
      Leo
